DE-STRESSING TECHNIQUES
A
little stress is good! A lot of stress is potentially harmful. To
bring your life more into balance, we offer different modalities
that can be incorporated into an easy daily practice that will give
you a mini-vacation to begin or end your day. We will formulate a
program with different priorities and considerations for optimum
wellness.
Meditation - An
ancient and effective technique for releasing the mind from it's
constant chattering. As a regular practice, one can experience a
deeply fulfilling state of peace, joy and inner freedom. Guided
sessions including imagery and sounds can have a calming effect
while increasing mental clarity, dissolving stress and relaxing the
mind and body.
Chakra Balancing -
The chakras are seven energy centers located from the base of the
spine to the top of the head. Using a soft form martial art
practice and gentle stretching, energy and awareness are channeled
to these areas. This simple practice can be exercised either
standing or sitting, and has tremendous grounding effects helping to
reduce anxiety. Adaptable for all age groups.
Couples Massage -
Partner massage is a skillful art that can be enjoyed and practiced
as often as you like. From polarity to reflexology, techniques
focus on the awareness aspect of sharing and supporting in harmony
with each other. Whilst wonderfully relaxing, many feel regenerated
and rejuvenated, with improved metabolism and increased alertness.
